Entry Requirements 
You should have completed the Business and Administration Apprenticeship.

Content / Overview 

During your Advanced Apprenticeship you will be mainly developing, implementing and maintaining administrative services for customers and clients. 

 

On the Advanced Apprenticeship apprentices work towards work-based learning such as a Level 3 Competence Qualification, Functional Skills and, in most cases, a relevant knowledgebased qualification.

 

Business and administration work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail and is an excellent starting point to move into management once you have gained experience. One of the great things about business and administration is that you can work almost anywhere.

 



Delivery Method 
Training is delivered in the workplace and an assessor will monitor your progress and conduct assessments in the workplace.

Assessment 
Continuous assessment in College and the workplace, portfolio of evidence and exams.

Progression 
You could move onto Higher Education courses at the College, for instance the Business Studies Degree or the Business and Management Degree.

Homework 
You may have to complete sections of your portfolio outside of College or working hours.





All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
