Entry Requirements 4 GCSEs grade C or above one of which must be English Language.
Content / Overview Develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of complex administrative functions and activities that will enable you to carry out a range of non-routine administrative tasks in a senior job role. Topics include: communicate with customers, teamwork, financial transactions and information, organise and support business meetings, handling diary systems, producing complex business documents, recruitment and selection procedures, events, office procedures, research and reports, train and develop staff.
Delivery Method Teaching and learning activities take place mostly in computer workshops and classrooms.
Assessment Assignments and exams.
Progression Secretarial or junior/middle management positions. Progression might also be to the Level 4 Diploma in preparation for working with more senior management.
All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
