Why Study Here 
 Training is delivered in the workplace and 1 day a week in the College restaurant ‘The Parkroom’ where a college tutor will monitor your progress and conduct assessments. 

Suitable For 
This Apprenticeship will give you increased opportunities to progress to jobs as a sous chef or head chef, head housekeeper, head of reception, unit manager in a hotel chain or unit manager in a contract catering company.

You should have completed the Hospitality and Catering Apprenticeship.

Content / Overview 

Progress your career within the hospitality and catering industry by learning advanced skills in front of house management or cookery towards jobs with increased responsibilities.

You could move on to the Hospitality Management Foundation Degree at the College.

You may have to complete sections of your portfolio outside of College or working hours.





All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
