Advice and Admissions

Careers
The Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance team, can support you in your journey through College and in helping you make key choices with regards your future education, employment and training options. They can help you every step of the way, from choosing the right college course to equipping you with essential ‘employability skills’ that you will need to succeed in an increasingly competitive job market when you leave College. The team are skilled in offering Advice and Guidance on everything from job search skills, writing CVs, preparing for job interviews to writing personal statements for university applications. They can also help you access up to date and relevant information by introducing you to a wide range of careers resources, both electronic and paper based. Tutorials
All students are supported by a personal tutor who will help you in developing your academic, professional and personal skills so that you are able to do your best on your chosen course. You see your personal tutor for group tutorials and on a regular one-to-one basis when you will create targeted plans to help you to achieve your goals.
Personal Support

Religion
Students from all faiths and cultures are welcomed by the College. Support can be offered to students to support their religion. The Retreat at Guildford College is a dedicated room for prayer and reflection.
Additional Learning Support
We are fully committed to widening participation and supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Students with dyslexia, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, emotional or behavioural difficulties have access to individual support and specialist help where needed. International Centre
Every year the International Centre helps over 1000 students from 100 different countries. We provide airport transfers and can advise you on finding accommodation, jobs, banking, insurance and health service registration.
