Single Equality Scheme

The draft 2008/09 Single Equality Scheme will replace the 2007/08 Disability, Gender and Race Schemes and Action Plans published previously. This Scheme will reflect the different strands of the 2006 Equality Act and current Government discussions on a Single approach. In common with the LSC and many other colleges, we have concentrated on a whole College Equality and Diversity culture, whilst separating the Action Plan into appropriate strands.

The Action Plans reflect the progress detailed in the 2007/08 plans and the recommendations made by the Disability, Race and Gender Advisory Groups.
