You will need to be employed in the industry and already achieved the Bricklaying (Trowel Occupations) Apprenticeship.

Content / Overview 

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Trowel Occupations is for those who have successfully completed their level 2 qualification and who are capable of undertaking more complex jobs without supervision and who are also capable of supervising others.



Delivery Method 
Training is delivered on a one day per week release basis at College where a tutor will monitor your progress.

Assessment 
Continuous assessment throughout the course. You create a portfolio of evidence in the workplace and will undertake a small number of unit exams at College.

Progression 
You could move onto Higher Education courses at the College, for instance a Construction Degree, university or progression at work.





All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
