Content / Overview
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 3 Foundation Certificate in HR Practice provides you with a firm foundation in all areas of HR.
Level 3 foundation certification is the introductory level for those who are either entering the profession or have a little experience behind them. This level, which is equivalent to an A-level, will give you a wide range of practical skills in HR and development. It will help you to develop essential HR skills and will give you the confidence to be more effective and knowledgeable at work.
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualifications develop relevant and essential knowledge and skills, and are a route into professional membership of the CIPD.

Application followed by individual interview
This is an open access course aimed at students just beginning their careers in HR, interested in a move into HR, those who have people related responsibilities in their current role or anyone wishing to develop HR skills and knowledge.
You will be required to join the CIPD as a student member.
Assessments and classroom sessions. Group and individual tutorials. Self-study.
Each unit is assessed by an assignment or set of assignments. You will be required to keep a personal development log. There are no examinations.
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in HR Management.
Possibilities range across the broad spectrum of HR professional areas - become an HR Advisor, Learning and Development Specialist, Recruitment Consultant, Reward or Systems Specialist.
It also gives you confidence in any role to be able to take on people related activities.
You must join the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development when undertaking this course.

All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position.
There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding (identified as 'no fee remission available on this course').
