A Degree Further at Guildford College

28 January 2010

Degree courses will be under the spotlight at Guildford College’s Open Day at Stoke Park Campus on Tuesday 16 February between 11am-2pm. Visitors will be able to question tutors in depth about their options and take tours. The College offers a range of vocational Foundation Degrees, HNDs and Degrees validated by leading universities such as Surrey, Greenwich, Kingston and London South Bank.

If you think you haven’t got time for a course the College, unlike many universities, offers the opportunity to study full or part-time, providing more flexibility and the chance to combine work, home or family life and study time.

For those looking to save money on their education, studying close to home is proving to be an increasingly popular option. Guildford College boasts tuition fees up to £1,000 less than some universities and extra help with fees for those who need it with a transparent bursary offer and advice on applying for grants, loans, extra and other necessities such as childcare, books and travel.

The College also offers an award winning 400 acre campus at Merrist Wood and industry standard facilities at Stoke Park plus opportunities for work based learning and additional support. In a recent survey undertaken by the College, 94% of Higher Education students said that the College had been their first choice for their course.

Places are still available for courses starting this September including Media, Computing and Counselling. For more information on the Open Day or courses call: 01483 448594, email: he@guildford.ac.uk|
