Beauty therapists can earn between £12,000 and £17,000 a year, rising to over £20,000 for salon managers. Trained hairdressers can earn up to £20,000 a year and at the top of the profession over £30,000.
You could undertake further professional qualifications or university degrees in salon business management, fashion, hairdressing management, beauty and spa management, beauty therapy or beauty therapy sciences.
