Ofsted

In June 2009 Ofsted graded Guildford College as “good” overall.


A Level success

98% A Level (A2) pass rate in 2012.


University progression

Last year students progressed on to top universities across the country including Sussex, Cardiff, Royal Holloway, Greenwich, Bath Spa, Kent, Bournemouth and Surrey to study subjects as diverse as Criminology, Business, Law, History, Midwifery, Maths, Medicine and Journalism.


Shining lights

Performing Arts students are frequently accepted into the country’s top academies including The Urdang Academy, London School of Contemporary Dance, East 15, Milennium Dance ALRA, and universities such as Chichester and Roehampton and Kingston.


The stamp of approval

Our Higher Education courses are validated by leading Universities Surrey, London South Bank and Greenwich, whilst our professional qualifications are accredited by the major industry chartered bodies including the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Building.


Internationally approved

In 2007 our International Centre was accredited by the British Council as an approved centre for the teaching of English language subjects.


Employer-endorsed

We work closely with employers and government agencies to ensure our courses are delivering the skills and knowledge required in the workplace.


Recipe for success

Our catering students have previously cooked for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Royal Ascot, the High Sheriff of Surrey’s Summer Party and with Anthony Worrall Thompson for British Science Festival Week.

For over 10 years we have maintained our ‘Investors in People’ status.


PRINCE2®

Following an extremely rigorous process, Services to Business, part of The Guildford College Group, became the only College in the UK to gain accreditation for PRINCE2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments). The course has become the most widely adopted project management methodology in the UK and around the world.
