All 3 Colleges can be easily reached by bus or train. Buses stop in front of Guildford College and Merrist Wood College has a subsidised bus service from the train station. Trains stop at Guildford and London Road. The A3 and M25 provide easy access road links and there are car parks. If you get lost, please just give us a call and we will do our best to direct you!
Answer:

If you don't currently hold a teaching qualification you will be required to enrol on a Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course. You have five years to complete the full qualification, which will give you Qualified Teacher Learning Skills status.

This will enable you to achieve the following qualification: 

  • PTLLS - Preparing to Teach in Life Long Learning Sector
  • CTLLS - Certificate to Teach in Life Long Learning Sector
  • DTLLS - Diploma to Teach in Life Long Learning Sector - will give you full QTLS status

Interview times and content will vary depending on the position you are applying for. If there is a task to complete at interview you will be notified of this in advance.

We aim to contact successful candidates within a week of the closing date. However, due to the volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to contact candidates who haven’t been short-listed. Therefore, if you don’t hear from us within four weeks of the closing date, you can assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
