Your Path to College

Step 1: Choose your course

So you've decided to do a course! Whatever your reasons for returning to education, you'll want to make sure you choose the right course. Doing a course takes time and commitment, so you need to make sure you get what you want out of it. We offer a wide range of courses at all levels - take a look at the courses section of the website, check out our prospectuses or come to an open day to find out more. If you're still not sure, Tel: 0800 612 6008 or click here to ask us a question.

Step 2: Apply

See our How to Apply page.

Step 3: Interview

We will invite you to an interview. The interview normally lasts 30 minutes and enables you to discuss your course choices and plans for the future. We'll also tell you about any materials or equipment you may need and the support we can offer. If you cannot keep the appointment, please contact us to arrange an alternative date. If you have applied for more than one course you may be invited to attend more than one interview.

Step 4: Offer

If your interview is successful we will offer you a place within two weeks. If you don't get your first choice we can offer you personalised one-to-one advice on alternative courses, university application support and long-term career options.

Step 5: Enrol

You will be sent a joining pack in the summer and invited to enrol on your course. You'll then need to come in to the College to pay your fees, sign documents, see your tutor and be enrolled.
