Fees and dates are based on academic year 2019-20 and are intended as a guide only. We will update the fees and dates for 2020-21 as soon as we have them and according to government funding and guidelines.
The Government funds and regulates adult Further Education and skills training in England. They pay a proportion of the cost to deliver the course and expect the student, or a sponsor, to pay the remaining portion. This is referred to as the ‘tuition fees’ and is what we display on our guide. If a course or a learner is not eligible for government funding the Full Cost /international fees will be liable. Please refer to our International fees page for more information.
Please note that the fees for government funded courses relate to ONE academic year only and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, including changes to Government funding and remission policies, so before enrolling on a course please check with the College for the latest information. The College also reserves the right to close, or not to start any published course.

Content / Overview
Complete your training as a beauty therapist with this course, building on the techniques of Level 2.
Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety. They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with clients, successfully promote and sell products, provide a range of beauty treatments including body massage, skin and body analysis and electrical science in order to make informed decisions for face and body electrical treatments. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills, their awareness of environmental sustainability and their commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers. Problem solving and research skills will also be developed.

The salons are open to the public who contribute to students training, enabling our students to be well prepared for industry and employment. Students attend educational trips to support their programme and good links to the industry are maintained.
Applicants who have successfully completed all aspects of Level 2 Beauty Therapy programme and who wish to become qualified in body and electrical aspects of beauty therapy along with body massage.
Application followed by individual interview
You should have achieved a Beauty Therapy Level 2 Diploma or equivalent, plus Maths and English Language at grade 4 (grade C) or above. You will need to have at least 88% attendance from the Level 2 course and maintain it on the Level 3 course.
ESOL Level 2 or IELTS 5.5, BKSB Level 2 for adult learners.

Assignment work, revision and other tasks to be completed at home.
The course is theory and practically based with online tests and practical assessment work in each unit.
Employment in beauty salons, department stores, hotels, health spas or cruise ships or set up your own business. Alternatively you could move on to further courses and Higher Education.
You should allow for the following additional costs: uniform, equipment, essential book list (to be advised), files, resources and an educational visit.
All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position.
There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding (identified as 'no fee remission available on this course').
