PRINCE2® has become the most widely adopted project management methodology in the UK and around the world. Following an extremely rigorous process, Services to Business, part of the Guildford College Group, are the only college in the UK to gain accreditation for this prestigious course. This 5-day intensive course covers both the Foundation and Practitioner.
The PRINCE2® Foundation qualification will teach you the PRINCE2® principles, terminology and when qualified will enable you to act as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2® methodology within a project environment.
The PRINCE2® Foundation examination assesses the candidate's knowledge of PRINCE2® through a 1-hour multiple choice paper composed of 75 questions. Candidates must achieve 35 correct answers to pass. Passing this paper proves the candidate's knowledge of PRINCE2® principles and terminology.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner accreditation is the next level of PRINCE2® qualification and will show you how to apply PRINCE2® to the running and managing of projects within an environment supporting PRINCE2®. You gain a comprehensive knowledge of the relationships between the PRINCE2® processes, components, techniques and PRINCE2® products and will understand the principles underpinning these elements.
The Practitioner examination assesses whether a candidate could apply PRINCE2® to the running and managing of a non-complex project within an environment supporting PRINCE2®. To this end candidates need to show they can apply and tailor PRINCE2® to address the needs and problems of a given project scenario.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam is an objective test - a style of complex multiple choice examination - lasting 2.5 hours. There are 8 questions per paper with 10 marks available per question.
