Your Teenager's Next Step

Worried about your teenager’s next step?

Confused TeenagersIf your teenager has received their mock results and you’re worried they might not achieve the grades required to study A Levels or a Level 3 programme - don't panic!

Further Education colleges typically offer qualifications at Levels 1 to 3, and some also offer qualifications at Entry Level (the stage before GCSEs). The level your teenager will begin to study at depends on their GCSE grades and experience. If you think your teenager won’t achieve five GCSEs at grade 4 or above by the time they leave school, the table below will give you an idea of the level and type of qualifications available to them…

It's also important to remember that if your teenager does not achieve grade 4 or above in Maths and English by the time they finish school, they must continue to study these subjects until they do.

Will they achieve...?
