Our Supported Learning courses are designed to help people with special learning requirements to gain new practical skills and develop confidence.

Students benefit from small class sizes and individual attention in a supportive environment and will be able to take advantage of facilities including the working environment of the Blues Café, kitchens and construction workshops. Courses are designed to provide practical skills in a chosen subject area as well as literacy, numeracy, social and communication skills.

New Supported Learning Centre

The new  Supported Learning Centre at Merrist Wood College will provide a safe and secure learning environment for up to 64 students with severe and complex learning, social and communication difficulties that may also have a physical disability. The Centre will also cater for students who have epilepsy.
